Location: Lower and upper Sameba, Kobuleti, Adjara, Georgia Description: In 2009, "Caucasus Road Project" was the first company to make concrete road in village. In the frames of the experimental project - "Concrete Roads in Villages" the 4 km. length concrete road was constructed in Kobuleti Municipality joining the villages of Lower-Sameba and Upper-Sameba. The difficult landscape was serious obstacle for the project. It was necessary to arrange luxurious concrete bridges in areas where landslides are often found. After negotiating with the customer, "Caucasus Road Project" applied innovative technologies and instead of the bridges, constructed gabion walls, with 11 meters of height.
