CONSTRUCTION WORKS OF WAREHOUSE...

Our company is carrying out construction works of warehouse in Dighomi Village, with total area of 3699.7 square meters. The building is a one story hangar of metal and wood construction, which is enclosed and roofed with "Sandwich" panels. The construction frame is formed with columns of metal profiles. The building is designed with modern architectural characteristics.

REHABILITATION OF THE NATIONAL ROAD KODA-PARTSKHISI-MANGLISI...

The road of Koda-Partskhisi-Manglisi-Tsalka-Ninotsminda, section 77km – 92km is of state importance. The 16 km length section that needs rehabilitation lies at Javakheti Plateau, 2050 meters above from sea level and covers following villages: Tbeti, Sameba, Gantiadi, Sakdrioni and Aizma. The original road surface – asphalt concrete was repeatedly repaired for several times, however, nowadays it is seriously damaged (holes, cracks, etc.). The project is intended to remove the old asphalt concrete, clean and arrange a new road surface.

Caucasus Road Project has started a new project Rehabilitation of Dzedzileti-Gordi-Nora Road and Bridge Construction on Rivers Tskhenistskali and Mechia announced by Roads Department of Georgia, Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. The project section of Dzedzileti-Gordi-Nora road is located in Khoni Municipality and is of local importance. The mentioned road is a connection between the Matkhoji-Khidi-Gordi-Kinchkha and the Kutaisi-Tskhaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili highway, which also connects the local villages with road traffic and touristic attractions like: Oktse Canyon, Prometheus, etc. The project includes rehabilitation of approximately 10 km section of the mentioned road and construction of two bridges on rivers Tskhenistskali and Mechia.

REHABILITATION WORKS OF VAKHUSHTI BAGRATIONI BRIDGE ON THE R...

Caucasus Road Project is carrying out rehabilitation works of Vakhushti Bagrationi Bridge as a contractor of The Municipal Department for Infrastructure Development of Tbilisi City Hall. Within the project all the defects identified by a study conducted by the Tbilisi City Hall in 2015 will be eliminated, new sidewalks, expansion joints, and reinforced concrete will be constructed. Furthermore, damaged walls will be renovated, outdoor lighting system will be set up, storm drains leading to the bridge will be installed and interior space within coastal pillars will be cleaned up. The rehabilitation works have already begun and will last 5 months.

TUNNEL FROM VERE RIVER VALLEY TILL BAKHTRIONI STREET...

Location: Tbilisi, Vere River Valley. Short Description: After the construction of the motorway the need for a tunnel running in Ikalto Mountain was arisen. Caucasus Road Project started to work on the project soon after and by the end of July, 2012 the construction works of Tunnel was finished. It created the shortest way between two central districts of Tbilisi. Tunnel is 204 meters in length and 11 meters in width. Carriageway is 8.5 meters wide, allowing the vehicles to move in both directions. The construction of the tunnel and its linking roads started on 1st of June, 2011 and ended on 26 of July, 2012. Subcontractors: ALGA (Italy), JSC “Hidroenergomontage” and “Interproeqt” LLC.

OVERPASSES AT THE HEROES SQUARE...

Location: Tbilisi, Heroes Square. Short Description: At the beginning of 2009 to defuse the busy traffic movement, it was planned to construct overpasses and the highway connecting the Heroes Square and Tamarashvili Street. The following monolithic concrete bridges have been designed and constructed: Overpass N1 from Kostava Street to Heroes Square, Overpass N2 – from Laguna Vere territory (right side of Mtkavri) to Digomi; Overpass N3 – From Baratashvili bridge territory to the right embankment of Mtkvari; Overpass N4 – from the right embankment of Mtkvari to the direction of Heroes Square. The overall length is 806 meters. The length of the main bridge is 337 meters, width approx. 10 meters. Architect: the project has been developed by “Saqgzametsniereba” LLC (author – Tamaz Shilakadze). Subcontractors: Dywidag Systems International.

CONSTRUCTION AND REHABILITATION WORKS OF THE TIANETI-ZARIDZE...

In 2016 Caucasus Road Project LLC was announced as a winner in the tender - Construction and Rehabilitation Works of the Tianeti-Zaridzeebi-Zhinvali Road (km 10 - km23) announced by Roads Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia. This section of the road was severely damaged - the pavement of asphalt concrete was completely exhausted, with only few fragments remaining. The water flowed out of the discharged water recovery system resulting the damage of pavement. In the framework of the project, Caucasus Road Project LLC renovated the passageways, two bridges, replaced damaged pipes; moved electric transmission line, different shaped and sized r/concrete pipes were installed to transfer the water from small ravines, the slopes were cleared and r/concrete retaining walls were built to stabilize landslide areas. As a result of construction and reconstructive works we received a two-way road passing through the villages of Pudznari and Bodavi.

BRIDGE CONSTRUCTION WORKS ON THE RIVER BIDARA...

Within the framework of mentioned project a new bridge was designed and built passing the river Bidara. Bridge was planned as frame construction with a steel-concrete composite superstructure, which is monolithically and thus rigidly connected with the substructure (abutments). The superstructure consists of steel-concrete composite precast elements – open steel beams connected with a precast element, connection with headed studs. The precast elements have to be installed on the prepared abutments, connected and stabilized. After the concreting and hardening of the frame corners (connection of the superstructure with the abutments) the in-situ deck slab can be reinforced and also concreted. Span length is 51 meters, total length – 52.80 meters, surface area – 591.60 m². Design life 100 years.

On the base of order of City Hall of Tbilisi – Caucasus Road Project Ltd has executed Rehabilitation works of damaged retaining wall, located at Elbakidze Rise near N21 M. Javakhishvili street, Tbilisi Georgia.

WOODEN PEDESTRIAN TIMBER BRIDGE OVER HIGHWAY...

The newest glulam pedestrian bridge in Georgia which was built by Caucasus Road Project unites Tbilisi Zoo and the city center park - Mziuri with each other. The bridge is built using Chestnut and Acacia. The length of the bridge is 30 meters and the width is 3 meters.

THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE OVERPASS ON THE RIGHT BANK OF THE RI...

In the beginning of 2012 by the decision of the Georgian Government the project was made to unload the traffic on the right bank of the River Mtkvari. It was decided to construct the bridges to prevent the interlocking traffic flows. As the bridges go over one of the main motorways of the city it was impossible to close it for the construction purposes. So to turn the plan into reality “Caucasus Road Project” made the combined steel and reinforced concrete monolithic bridges first time not only in Georgia, but in whole Eastern Europe. This technology gives the possibility to construct the bridge by closing the traffic for only some hours.

WOODEN PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ON THE SQUARE OF HEROES...

Location: Tbilisi, Vere Ravine Highway. Brief Description: In 2010 after completing the construction of Heroes Square Overpass and Vere Highway Caucasus Road Project constructed pedestrian wooden bridge. The bridge was designed and constructed in Caucasus Road Project’s wood factory in Kutaisi. For the first time in Georgia the finger-joint technology was used in the construction of mentioned bridge. Length of the bridge is 24 meters and the width is 3 meters. Architect: the project has been developed in constructor bureau of “Caucasus Road Project” (Kutaisi Branch).

REHABILITATION OF SAMEBA ROAD WITH CONCRETE...

Location: Lower and upper Sameba, Kobuleti, Adjara, Georgia Description: In 2009, "Caucasus Road Project" was the first company to make concrete road in village. In the frames of the experimental project - "Concrete Roads in Villages" the 4 km. length concrete road was constructed in Kobuleti Municipality joining the villages of Lower-Sameba and Upper-Sameba. The difficult landscape was serious obstacle for the project. It was necessary to arrange luxurious concrete bridges in areas where landslides are often found. After negotiating with the customer, "Caucasus Road Project" applied innovative technologies and instead of the bridges, constructed gabion walls, with 11 meters of height.

NATAKHTARI-AGIANI-IGOETI HIGHWAY...

The first concrete road in Georgia was constructed by initiative of “Caucasus Road Project”. Together with company “Zimo” “Caucasus Road Project” offered alternative suggestion about concrete paved road on 2006 tender, which meant widening of motorway E60 from 2 lines to 4 lines with asphalt pavement. This suggestion passed through and in October 2006 “Nakahtari-Agaiani” 12 km part of the road was completed. In 2009 “Caucasus road project” completed Agiani-igoeti 17 km part of the road. Project participants were: “Heilit+woerner” GmbH _ Germany and SE “Strabag” _ Austria.

HIGHWAY FROM VARAZISKHEVI TO TAMARASHVILI STREET...

Project: Highway from Varaziskhevi to Tamarashvili Street. Location: Tbilisi, Vere Ravine - the road starts in Vere Ravine, at City Highway and continues towards Tamarashvili Street. Brief Description: In 2009 construction of the new connecting road started through Vere Ravine. The transport node connects two important city parts – Vake and Saburtalo and is the alternative road to Heroes Square and Tamarashvili Street. The project was unique in Georgia by its complexity. The road should have been passing above the river in the narrow gorge. Instead of bridges given in the project “Caucasus Road Project” used innovative technology – Canadian corrugated steel tunnels. River Vere is now flowing in these tunnels under the motorway. With the aforementioned innovation “Caucasus Road Project” decreased the cost of the project, as well as the time of construction. Construction took exactly one year and the completion was due in July, 2010. Road is 3400 meters long. It provides 4 lined 2 way drive. This motorway, which was called “New road” by the people, significantly unloaded the traffic of Tbilisi’s central avenues. Architect: The project has been developed by “Sakgzametsniereba” LLC (author: Tamaz Shilakadze).

ANAKLIA-GANMUKHURI PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE ON RIV. ENGURI...

Project: Pedestrian Bridge on river Enguri. Location: Anaklia – Ganmukhuri, Zugdidi Region, Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti. Brief Description: Pedestrian bridge on river Enguri, connecting Ganmukhuri and Analkia beaches. The project is implemented in eight stages: Construction of reinforced concrete pile base; Construction of reinforced concrete piers; Production of timber constructions; Production of steel constructions; Installation of timber constructions; Installation of the pylon; Installation and stressing of the cables; Timber works on pedestrian side, installation of railings and lighting. The technical Characteristics - length of the bridge – 504 m, width – 6.81 m - makes it the longest wooden bridge in Europe and one of the largest in the World. Project Name: Mestia Airport takeoff and landing strips Location: lower Mestia, Samegrelo-Upper Svaneti, Georgia Description: In 2010 we began to construct an airport in lower Mestia. Concrete takeoff and landing strip is 1100 meters long and 30 meters in width. Airport is supposed to support the development of tourism infrastructure and every year it will welcome Georgian and Foreign guests. Project was completed in November 2010.
